Originally from Saint-Basile, in northwest New Brunswick, Dr. Levesque graduated from
University of Waterloo in 1994. He then moved to Halifax where he worked for a year and
a
half. Dr. Levesque purchased the Liverpool office in 1996 and started another one in
Digby
that same year. He really enjoys practicing in friendly rural Nova-Scotia. He is
licensed to
prescribe medication to treat ocular infection, dry eyes and ocular allergies in
addition to
removing foreign bodies.
Dr. Levesque has always been very involved in the Nova Scotia Association of Optometrists
and
served on council of that organization for four years. Most of his time outside the
office
is now being spent with his young kids and wife. When he has some spare time, he enjoys
playing hockey, downhill skiing, swimming, sailing and playing tennis.
